Job Description

The Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining visually compelling and brand-consistent displays across retail locations. This role requires a blend of creative vision and strategic execution, ensuring that all merchandising efforts align with the brand's identity and business objectives. The manager will oversee the implementation of visual standards, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to a positive customer experience within the dynamic cannabis retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute visually appealing in-store displays that effectively communicate the brand's aesthetic and meet commercial goals
  • Ensure that all retail locations adhere to established brand guidelines, creating a cohesive look and feel across all stores
  • Stay current with visual merchandising trends and apply new techniques to keep displays fresh, engaging, and competitive within the market
  • Work closely with regional management and store teams to tailor visual merchandising strategies that fit local market needs while maintaining overall brand integrity
  • Regularly visit stores to assess the execution of visual merchandising standards, providing actionable feedback to improve presentation and customer engagement
  • Assist in the planning and execution of visual merchandising for new store openings, remodels, and seasonal updates, ensuring a seamless brand presentation
  • Review sales performance related to visual merchandising efforts, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Use data insights to refine visual merchandising tactics, ensuring they are aligned with sales goals and customer behavior
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to design and implement effective planograms that optimize product placement and enhance the customer shopping experience
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to align visual merchandising efforts with broader business objectives, ensuring cohesive execution across all touchpoints
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality materials and props that enhance visual merchandising displays
  • Clearly communicate visual merchandising plans and updates to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support across the organization
