Job Description

STIIIZY is seeking an Assistant Manager to assist the General Manager in leading the retail team and overseeing day-to-day operations at their dispensary in Oxnard, CA. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of teamwork, lead and inspire team members, and help build an exceptional team that upholds the company's mission, vision, and goals. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for executing daily operations, managing inventory and cash handling, collaborating with the General Manager to train and mentor staff, and driving sales by setting challenging targets and implementing strategies for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and promote a healthy team culture
  • Lead and inspire team members to continuously grow, learn, and evolve personally and professionally
  • Help build an exceptional team that will uphold and deliver the company's mission, vision, and goals
  • Execute daily operations with meticulous attention to detail
  • Work closely with all team members to ensure every customer interaction is met with an exceptional level of service and product knowledge
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to train and mentor staff
  • Implement rigorous inventory control practices to minimize shrinkage
  • Oversee stringent cash handling procedures
  • Collaborate with management to set and exceed sales targets
  • Drive sales by setting challenging targets and implementing strategies for growth
  • Uphold the highest standards of compliance with local and state regulations
  • Mediate and resolve customer/employee concerns and conflicts
  • Comply with all HR policies and employee handbook

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience
  • 2-3 years in retail/hospitality management
  • Open availability: able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
