Job Description

The Propagation Technician will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of plants in the propagation stage, from seed to vegetative growth. This includes monitoring and controlling environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and light to ensure optimal growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in a greenhouse or cultivation setting and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain optimal environmental conditions for plant growth
Prune, water, and fertilize plants as necessary
Identify and report any plant health issues to management
Assist in the transplanting of plants from propagation to larger containers
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

1-2 years of experience in a greenhouse or cultivation setting
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Basic knowledge of plant biology and horticulture
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
