Lead Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily order fulfillment and delivery workflows
• Develop and adjust delivery schedules to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer service
• Monitor delivery execution to ensure product integrity, safety, and compliance
• Maintain accurate inventory records using systems such as MJ Freeway
• Ensure all product packaging, labeling, and tracking meet regulatory and internal standards
• Oversee fleet operations, including maintenance, sanitation, inspections, and documentation
• Communicate daily with Sales, Delivery, and Fulfillment teams to align on manifests, priorities, schedules, and issue resolution
• Troubleshoot delivery discrepancies, analyze recurring issues, and implement corrective actions
• Track key logistics metrics and share insights with leadership
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen efficiency and reduce waste
• Train and mentor team members on SOPs, compliance requirements, safety practices, and operational best practices

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in logistics, order fulfillment, transportation, or inventory work
• At least 6 months of experience in a cannabis setting
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable learning and using basic equipment and checking vehicles for routine upkeep
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly
• Able to use a computer, especially Excel, and feel confident with simple math and data entry
• High school diploma or GED (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
