Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize product allocations across all stores to ensure optimal inventory levels
• Own purchase order authorship of internal transfers from Wholesale inventory
• Communicate to and develop strong relationships with both retail and wholesale teams
• Conduct analysis of PA dispensaries to report competitive assortment and pricing strategies
• Execute the programming of specials for upcoming promotions
• Partner with the Marketing team to ensure promotions are executed and messaged effectively
• Identify assortment gaps based on SKU count and inventory level targets
• Monitor and update vault capacity targets by store
• Collaborate with store teams on a frequent basis with updates on product assortment, pricing, promotions, vendor deliveries and in-store events
• Deep dive on sales and inventory reporting to better understand the drivers of business performance
• Resolve discrepancies with vendor invoices, purchase orders, and manifests

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ experience in retail buying and merchandising
• Prior experience in the cannabis industry preferred
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Strong cross-functional team player
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
