Environmental Services Technician II

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Dismantles, cleans, sanitizes, and reassembles production machinery or production areas
• Inspects work area for cleanliness; completes required paperwork documenting activities
• Safely uses and stores cleaning materials, ensuring they are labeled correctly
• Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, vacuuming rugs, washing windows, emptying trash, and recycling receptacles
• Cleans and services restrooms with disinfectants and other cleaning agents
• Reports maintenance concerns or repair requests to Facilities Management
• Updates safety data sheets as new chemicals are implemented
• May operate machinery necessary for marijuana waste disposal

Requirements

• Age 21 or over
• Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
• Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English
• Preferred 1+ years custodial experience with knowledge of proper and safe use of custodial equipment
• Knowledge of chemical use and purpose
• Good organization and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• Ability to be in constant standing/moving position
• Ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting, standing, and squatting
• Ability to work in extreme weather
• Ability to ascend/descend a ladder
