Director of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
• Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS management
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Certifications such as OSHA, CSP, or CIH preferred
