Quality Control Supervisor - MI

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of Quality Control Technicians and Leads
• Conduct regular internal audits and team meetings to monitor and improve employee performance
• Manage QC staff schedules and labor allocation, ensure accurate timekeeping/payroll, and conduct QC staff performance reviews
• Monitor KPIs to ensure compliance with applicable cannabis regulations and internal specifications, policies, and procedures
• Communicate quality- or compliance-related issues and guidance to necessary/affected parties
• Review, analyze, and report data reported by QC Lead(s) to relevant leadership daily
• Work with QC personnel and collaborate cross-departmentally to drive nonconformance investigations and identify corrective actions

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have reliable transportation
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office
• Comfortable with data analysis and data visualization in Microsoft Excel
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
• Problem-solving skills
• HS Diploma or GED required, college degree preferred
• Quality control or quality assurance experience in cannabis or a similarly regulated industry
• Supervisory or management experience required
