Job Description

Fertigation & Integrated Pest Management Specialist responsible for ensuring irrigation and fertilizing systems are in proper working order and crops are provided with accurate and timely fertigation.

Key Responsibilities

Adhere to the Integrated Pest Management Program
Daily monitoring and scouting for pests and diseases
Log all sprays in accordance with local and state laws
Perform routine safety inspections on all spraying equipment
Report equipment malfunctions
Train cultivation staff in pest and disease recognition
Monitor plants for signs of wilting or deficiencies
Ensure accurate and successful watering/feeding of plants
Maintain accurate records of reservoirs, equipment, and crop-related logs
Identify and repair issues with equipment

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 21 years of age
Knowledgeable of plant pests and disease identification, experience or exposure to the green industry
Ability to work independently
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Effective communication skills
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
