Assistant Store Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with Store Manager, District Manager, and Cross-functional Partners to maximize revenue opportunities
• Model selling behaviors aligned with brand culture to support building loyal customer relationships and delivering on key financial targets
• Monitor and analyze customer service provided by team members and offer feedback and coaching
• Supervise the operation of the store and team members, including opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation, and scheduling
• Supervise the control of store money, including register counts, withdraws from the bank, armored car pickups, safe deposits, change orders, and bookkeeping
• Analyze inventory trends and supervise inventory management, including ordering items, keeping stock, and leveraging company resources
• Maintain knowledge of computer and technology systems and software, and comply with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in retail and/or customer service in a high-paced selling environment
• Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience
• Strong sense of business acumen and understanding of how to measure success through financial targets and key performance indicators
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours
• Previous experience working in a heavily regulated industry
• Strong leadership skills, ability to build and manage teams, and salesmanship skills
