Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze units, revenue, gross margin, and contribution margin by SKU, category, banner, and channel
• Perform deep post-promotion analysis explaining what specifically happened during promotional events
• Measure promotional ROI including lift, margin impact, discount effectiveness, and inventory movement
• Analyze consumer purchasing behavior, loyalty participation, frequency, and basket composition
• Develop a working mastery of the CRM and loyalty platform to extract meaningful insight
• Analyze eCommerce performance including traffic, conversion, basket size, and product mix
• Identify what is driving online sales and where friction exists
• Recommend actions to make eCommerce a more productive and profitable engine

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to connect units, revenue, margin, and customer behavior to strategic recommendations
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting
• Strong understanding of merchandising and promotional concepts
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex analysis
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
