Merchandising Data Analyst

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, validate, and monitor merchandising, pricing, and inventory data across multiple systems and retail banners
• Support item setup, pricing updates, and category data maintenance
• Assist with data migration, cleanup, and system integration efforts
• Identify, research, and resolve data discrepancies
• Partner with the MDA and merchandising leadership to uphold data governance standards and documentation
• Develop, implement, and maintain all point-of-sale and eCommerce promotions and specials
• Build, maintain, and refresh recurring and ad hoc reports, scorecards, and dashboards
• Support competitive pricing, assortment, and market analysis
• Conduct foundational sales, margin, inventory, and promotional analyses
• Partner with merchandising, category management, operations, and finance teams to support category initiatives and execution

• Strong analytical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Developing understanding of retail and merchandising dynamics
• Ability to maintain data integrity and support reporting and analysis
• Ability to assist with system updates, item setup, and performance tracking
