Job Description

Schwazze is seeking a Merchandising Analyst to serve as a critical analytical and operational support partner to the Merchandising organization. The role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, producing actionable insights, and supporting category performance through reporting, pricing analysis, inventory visibility, and vendor evaluation. The ideal candidate will have experience in data management, reporting, and analytical support, as well as category and vendor support. The role will be based in Denver, Colorado, and will require collaboration with Category Managers and leadership to inform decisions and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support the backend data infrastructure for merchandising and retail reporting
Analyze sales, margin, inventory, and promotional performance across categories
Build, maintain, and enhance recurring scorecards, dashboards, and KPIs
Partner closely with Category Managers to support SKU rationalization, category strategy execution, and new item launches
Evaluate vendor performance, pricing changes, cost structures, and promotional activity
Support process improvement and tool development to standardize reporting and analytical tools

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with data management and reporting
Ability to communicate complex data insights to executives and Category Managers
Understanding of product performance assessment, shelf space value analysis, and category gap analysis
Experience with merchandising analytics and category management
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, economics, or mathematics
