Job Description

Schwazze is seeking an IT Field Technician to provide extensive IT support to their Share Service Centers, retail stores, and various facilities. The IT Field Technician will identify and resolve system, process, and technical issues, ensuring seamless operations of the business. This role will also participate in critical initiatives such as new store openings, market construction projects, and on-site field support to drive growth and efficiency of operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage helpdesk tickets and support requests
  • Maintain equipment and software inventory using helpdesk software
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft Office 365, directory services, SharePoint, HTML, and other applications
  • Collaborate with internal teams and end-users to understand technical issues and provide effective solutions
  • Provide end-user support and training to ensure correct use of applications and tools
  • Purchase, configure, deploy, maintain, and upgrade corporate networks, retail systems, and facilities systems
  • Onboard and offboard team members, managing system access, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees
  • Set up, install, maintain, and update computer hardware and software systems, addressing hardware and software issues promptly
  • Administer and support third-party applications, resolving issues and providing technical guidance to users
  • Implement and enforce network and system security protocols to safeguard data and resources
  • Proactively monitor and address system performance, including availability, connectivity, utilization, throughput, and latency
  • Test systems for vulnerabilities and weaknesses, recommending and implementing security enhancements
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and refine IT policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices

Requirements

  • Strong IT technical skills and knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, directory services, SharePoint, HTML, and other applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to provide end-user support and training
  • Experience with network and system administration, including security protocols and system performance monitoring
  • Ability to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
