Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and listen for their needs
• Make recommendations and select and help locate products
• Educate customers on product features and benefits
• Process cash transactions in point of sales system
• Stay current with sales prices, discounts, specials, and product demonstrations
• Monitor security issues and aid in loss prevention
• Arrange and display product and merchandise according to protocol
• Rotate product to ensure newest product is behind older product
• Periodically check inventory levels
• Maintain a neat, organized, and clean merchandise area

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to make recommendations and educate customers on products
• Basic math skills and ability to process cash transactions
• Ability to stay organized and maintain a clean and neat merchandise area
• Ability to work with point of sales system
• High school diploma or equivalent required
