Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manages the receiving of delivered supplies, materials, and equipment
• Monitors replenishment stock and works with purchasing to forecast future requirements
• Manages the coordination of inventory requirements and procurement details with vendors and customers
• Issues supplies, materials, and equipment to department managers
• Creates and submits purchase requisitions and payment requests as required
• Forecasts and estimates potential stock requirements based on company demand
• Tracks the transportation and distribution of inventory
• Conducts inventory auditing on a required basis
• Identifies purchasing trends, opportunities for process improvement, and expense management
• Develops and manages inventory-related projects

Requirements

• A minimum of five years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
• A minimum of five years of experience with forklift operation
• Demonstrated understanding of department supply items and equipment
• Demonstrated understanding of packaging requirements for departmental operations
• Demonstrated understanding of logistics and inventory control
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility
• Must be able to secure a MED card
• Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's license
• Must be able to be forklift certified
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related area of study preferred
• ASCM / APICS certification preferred
