Vice President, Finance

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across all territories and departments
• Provide leadership with insights and recommendations for short-term and long-term growth
• Collaborate with operational teams to review and improve financial performance
• Enhance cash forecasting process and drive business performance through key performance indicators
• Develop long-range financial models and provide scenario analysis and sensitivity models
• Present financial results to executives, investors, Board of Directors, and lenders
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and analytics team
• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related area
• 10+ years of progressive experience in a finance-related role in corporate FP&A, investment banking, or corporate development
• 3+ years of executive-level experience leading through time-sensitive situations
• Prior experience in the cannabis industry, complex manufacturing, and/or CPG required
• Advanced modeling and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to think creatively and high standard of accuracy and precision
