Vice President, Design (Hybrid)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a mid-maturity design organization
• Drive best design excellence, pattern quality, and mobile execution
• Collaborate cross-departmentally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing leadership
• Define UX vision and strategy, generating buy-in and operationalizing the strategy across multiple teams and timelines
• Strengthen mobile-first focus with motion design, micro-interactions, and native mobile gestures
• Restructure foundational patterns across mobile app, mobile web, and desktop
• Use technical fluency to partner closely with engineering and product to make pragmatic design decisions
• Raise the bar for product quality across products by advocating for user-centered product roadmaps

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years experience working in product design and have shipped several products and features
• Minimum of 5+ years experience managing a design team
• A portfolio of meaningful product design work that showcases ability to ship successful products
• Experience developing product roadmaps for a cross-platform design, where mobile is primary
• Proven ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into a clear direction that guides the team
• Proven track record devising product vision and strategy and designing high-quality products in collaboration with product management and engineering partners
