Transportation Agent

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Lead Transportation Agent on the execution of daily SOPs
• Coordinate with order fulfillment team in preparation for delivering of marijuana products
• Plan delivery routes and communicate to customers the approximate date and time for deliveries
• Verify the accuracy of shipping manifests to ensure the paperwork reflects the physical inventory
• Maintain a strict chain of custody concerning all items being transported
• Ensure that items being transported are secure and discreet
• Operate a motor vehicle through heavy traffic, detours, road construction, and adverse weather conditions
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Resolve delivery issues and comply with laws and regulations

Requirements

• Marijuana Establishment Agent Card
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to understand and complete all given directives in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Basic understanding of compliance software and job specific information technology
• Adherence to all industry standards set forth by Local, State, and Federal regulations
• Capacity to work autonomously to achieve daily directives and department goals
• Flexible work schedule required
