Sr Financial Analyst - Wholesale FP&A

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with the operations and finance teams to understand facility cost drivers
• Understand costing information to provide insights on cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution for Cresco’s products
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate performance and support decision-making
• Analyze financial results, trends, and variances versus plan and prior periods
• Build a collaborative working relationship and become one of the financial liaisons with divisional and corporate leadership
• Review and validate accrual activity and general ledger coding for accuracy and compliance
• Support the monthly close process to ensure timely, accurate and complete financial accounting and reporting
• Perform ad-hoc financial/quantitative analysis and various reporting, financial modeling, and business operations requests

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or financial analysis
• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry strongly preferred
• Cannabis industry experience is a plus but not required
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams
