Senior Outdoor Fertigation Technician (Full Time Temp)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties
• Conduct temperature monitoring, dissolved oxygen monitoring, and mixing concentration tanks
• Participate in ECA PPM tests for fertigation tanks and outdoor irrigation lines and testing of nutrient concentrations as assigned
• Complete daily checks to monitor assets and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Track daily water usage and function as a subject matter expert on all fertigation equipment as assigned
• Monitor and stock nutrients and appropriate chemicals
• Cleaning of work area to ensure compliance
• Stocking of nutrients and monitoring nutrient stock levels in the storehouse
• Document all activities, inspections, and test results accurately and submit reports as required
• Perform preventative maintenance on fertigation systems, including cleaning filters and calibrating equipment
• Complete leak audits and work with facilities and maintenance on problems, issues, and PMs

Requirements

• Knowledge and adherence to the policies, procedures and goals of the company
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees
• Basic math skills
• Understand applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry
• Must pass all required background checks and approval by state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry
• Must possess valid driver’s license
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
