Senior Manager, Payments Risk

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of risk platform, including Sift and Plaid Signal
• Design and implementation of identity and fraud controls
• Loss, returns, and fraud reduction, with metrics and progress reporting
• Leading cross-functional risk programs with ACH Operations
• Partnership with Product and Engineering to bring data-driven insights to risk control development

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in payments risk and fraud, with demonstrated ownership of loss and fraud outcomes
• Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience leading a payments risk or fraud team at a fintech or payments company
• Genuine curiosity and a bias for getting into the weeds
• Experience with AI-forward practices, such as using LLMs and modern tooling
