Senior Full Stack Engineer II (Frontend Leaning)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend applications using Vue 3, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript tooling
• Own complex features from technical design through production release — UI, API, and the Python services behind them
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs in Python to support product features
• Build reusable components, patterns, and frontend architecture that improve developer velocity
• Improve application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and reliability
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into high-quality user experiences
• Write high-quality tests across the stack using tools such as Vitest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright, and pytest
• Participate in code reviews and mentor engineers on frontend best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements, observability, monitoring, and release quality
• Help maintain strong standards around security, privacy, and safe handling of user data
• Use AI-powered development tools, including Claude, to accelerate software design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review

Requirements

• 5+ years working in rich, complex, and ever-evolving front-end user experiences, building production web applications
• Deep experience with Vue.js, preferably Vue 3 and the Composition API, and strong proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Professional experience building backend services and APIs in Python
• Experience with state management patterns and libraries such as Pinia, Vuex, or equivalent, and strong understanding of component architecture and design systems
• Experience integrating applications with REST, GraphQL, or event-driven APIs
• Strong testing experience, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization, bundle analysis, caching, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals
• Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG and semantic HTML
• Experience working with relational databases
• Hands-on professional experience using AI coding assistants (Claude, Copilot, Cursor, or similar) as part of your regular workflow
• Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams, with proven ability to lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision
