Security Officer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol the facility and inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
• Monitor surveillance equipment and detect tampering or malfunctions
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of security systems
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of individuals
• Investigate and report irregular activity
• Respond to alarms and assist with emergency response efforts
• Transport deliveries to authorized dispensary organizations and patients
• Maintain a courteous and professional environment for team members, customers, and visitors

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Professional telephone etiquette and ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 or more pounds and regularly move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
