Retail Store Manager, Wellness Shop

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement store policies that reflect core values and support operational effectiveness
• Manage daily store operations, ensuring efficient and consistent execution of opening and closing procedures
• Plan and maintain store cleanliness, organization, and appealing visual merchandising
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate reorders
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming, educational environment
• Educate customers about hemp wellness and lifestyle products, including benefits and usage
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise store wellness advisors
• Develop local outreach and in-store event plans to generate new customer growth within the local community
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, customer retention, and inventory turnover

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience and experience leading teams
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong understanding of retail operations, sales techniques, and visual merchandising
• Experience supervising, training, and motivating retail staff
• Passion for hemp-derived THC and wellness product space
• Warm, approachable, and professional demeanor
• Self-motivated with strong initiative and sense of ownership
• Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, POS Systems)
• Available to work all hours of operation inclusive of nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
