Retail Security Supervisor - Blue Diamond - PT

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure and controlled entrance and exit for the licensed retail establishment
• Serve as the primary reception point for customers, patients, and visitors
• Conduct customer intake procedures by verifying age through scanning valid identification
• Issue, document, and manage visitor badges and ensure visitors are properly escorted
• Enforce facility access rules, including denying entry or requesting individuals leave the premises
• Monitor surveillance systems and security equipment to identify suspicious activity
• Perform routine and periodic checks of electronic security systems
• Assess developing situations and engage with customers, patients, or employees to deescalate conflicts
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, injuries, accidents, security incidents, and emergency situations
• Lead initial response to workplace injuries, including providing First Aid and AED support
• Initiate, document, and maintain accurate incident reports, witness statements, and security records
• Coordinate with emergency services or law enforcement when escalation is required
• Protect company assets from theft, diversion, assault, fire, and other safety or security risks

Requirements

• Ability to maintain a secure and controlled environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to assess and de-escalate situations
• Basic life support certification, such as CPR/First Aid/AED
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Proficiency with job-related technology, including surveillance systems and access-control software
• Ability to interpret, understand, and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
