Retail Pharmacist - Full Time

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medical cannabis medications based on patient's physician recommendations
• Conduct individual patient consultations to determine the best therapy
• Maintain control of the inventory and rotate the inventory as needed
• Submit and review the state prescription monitoring program
• Comply with state laws as regulated by the state medical cannabis program
• Maintain records and remove outdated and damaged drugs from the dispensary inventory
• Supervise the work results of support personnel
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Support marketing content creation on a by-project basis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• 1+ years of experience working in a pharmacy setting
• Active pharmacist license in good standing without restrictions registered in the state of Pennsylvania
• Excellent customer service skills
• Satisfactory completion of any State required Medical Cannabis education programs
• Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body
• Ability to work effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members, and the general public
• Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
