Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Helping retail customers in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives
• Providing extensive retail product knowledge to assist customers in making educated purchasing decisions
• Completing any work assigned during scheduled shifts
• Maintaining accurate use of the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Following proper cash handling procedures and discount/coupon application
• Answering phone calls and greeting customers with a pleasant disposition
• Maintaining accurate inventory counts and product sales
• Assisting in the cannabis product inventory intake process
• Preparing, packaging, and delivering curbside pickup orders
• Verifying identity of curbside pickup customers and ensuring correct payment
• Maintaining medical patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Comprehending and applying Security and safety compliance procedures and protocols
• Maintaining store organization, cleanliness, and general upkeep of sales floor and inventory areas
• Reporting employee issues or customer concerns to supervisory staff

Requirements

• Marijuana Establishment Agent Card and Jurisdictional Work Cards (as required)
• Ability to understand and complete all given directives in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate clearly whether verbally or in writing
• Basic understanding of compliance software and job specific information technology
• Adherence to all industry standards set forth by Local, State, and Federal regulations
• Capacity to work autonomously to achieve daily directives and department goals
• Flexible work schedule required
• Proficiency in Windows based software and point of sale applications
• Excellent communications skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret, understand, and comply with complex statutes, ordinances, regulations, standards, and laws
