Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Help retail customers in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives
• Provide extensive retail product knowledge to assist customers in making educated purchasing decisions
• Complete any work assigned during scheduled shift
• Maintain accurate use of the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Follow proper cash handling procedures and discount/coupon application
• Answer phone calls and greet customers with a pleasant disposition
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and product sales
• Assist in the cannabis product inventory intake process according to quality assurance and inventory intake protocols
• Prepare, package, and deliver curbside pickup orders to customers
• Verify identity of curbside pickup customers and ensure correct payment
• Maintain medical patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Comprehend and apply all Security and safety compliance, procedures, and protocols
• Maintain store organization, cleanliness, and general upkeep of sales floor and inventory areas
• Report employee issues or customer concerns to supervisory staff
• Provide support to the management team to ensure successful retail operations

Requirements

• Marijuana Establishment Agent Card and Jurisdictional Work Cards (as required)
• Ability to understand and complete all given directives in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate clearly whether verbally or in writing
• Basic understanding of compliance software and job specific information technology
• Adherence to all industry standards set forth by Local, State, and Federal regulations
• Capacity to work autonomously to achieve daily directives and department goals
• Flexible work schedule required
• Represent the company in a professional manner when communicating or interacting with all local community, state, or federal officials
• Observe and maintain all safety procedures and protocols
• Proficiency in Windows based software and point of sale applications
• Excellent communications skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret, understand, and comply with complex statutes, ordinances, regulations, standards, and laws
