Job Description

The Regional Sales Representative will drive wholesale sales of cannabis and cannabis products to licensed dispensaries within their assigned territory, building strong relationships with dispensary buyers, budtenders, and end consumers to grow market share and increase brand visibility. This role blends sales execution with brand ambassador responsibilities, requiring a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and comfort representing a brand in public settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, pitch, and close wholesale cannabis sales with dispensaries across the assigned region
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by providing exceptional service and support
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Track sales activities, pipeline, and results using CRM tools
  • Serve as the face of the brand at dispensary events, vendor days, product demos, and community activations
  • Educate dispensary staff on product features, benefits, and brand story to ensure accurate and enthusiastic promotion
  • Collect market feedback on product performance, pricing, and competitor activity
  • Partner with marketing to plan and execute brand ambassador activities
  • Communicate market trends, customer insights, and growth opportunities to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with all state cannabis regulations in sales and promotional activities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in cannabis, alcohol, beverage, or CPG industries
  • Strong track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable representing a brand in public settings and engaging with diverse groups
  • Knowledge of cannabis products, culture, and compliance regulations a plus
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel regionally
