Production Technician - Kitchen

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Support extraction processes, including operating extraction equipment, and ensuring the safe and efficient production of cannabis concentrates
• Assist with lab-related tasks, including the preparation and testing of samples, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Assist with the packaging of cannabis products, including labeling, weighing, and sealing products for distribution
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the cleaning and sanitization of equipment and work areas to prevent contamination
• Adhere to all state and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, to ensure legal and operational standards are met
• Assist with inventory management, including tracking and recording product quantities, and reporting discrepancies
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the production department

Requirements

• Age 21 or over
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
• Previous experience working in a cannabis production facility, lab, or a related manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Familiarity with quality control, policy, procedure, and documentation (preferred)
• Experience with cannabis extraction processes, lab procedures, knowledge of production techniques, and proficiency in using production-related software and tools (preferred)
• Ability to learn new technologies
• Ability to multitask and be aware of multiple active processes
