Production Lab Supervisor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise laboratory production operations
• Lead production employees and provide motivation
• Support leadership in maintaining high standards of quality
• Employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Maintain compliance with State laws and regulations
• Complete necessary scheduling, training, and performance reviews
• Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments
• Follow SOP and standard analytical procedures
• Support documentation of lab standards and inventory management

Requirements

• Laboratory experience or degree in Life Sciences preferred
• 2+ years of working in an analytical, food manufacturing, or production environment
• Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for dealing with hazardous chemicals
• Background in cannabis extraction or distillation highly desirable
• Knowledge of laboratory best practices
• Ability to use standard office equipment and software
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and innovative
• Must pass any and all required background checks
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
