Production Inventory Lead

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily inventory operations within the production environment
• Support and guide inventory team members
• Provide accurate inventory reporting to purchasing and planning teams
• Oversee movement, transfers, and storage of inventory across production locations
• Maintain and monitor inventory tracking systems to ensure compliance with state and local cannabis regulations
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy
• Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
• Partner cross-functionally with production, supply chain, and compliance teams to streamline inventory processes

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of inventory control experience; cannabis manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous leadership experience or lead-level responsibilities required
• Strong proficiency in Excel and inventory management systems
• Familiarity with cannabis compliance systems (e.g., METRC, BioTrack) strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain all state-required cannabis badging
