Processing Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cannabis material during processing phases
• Maintain electronic and paper logs for accurate weighing, tracking, and reporting of all inventory
• Input data and manage the flow of production
• Clean production areas to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with local and state health regulations
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure the product meets or exceeds quality standards
• Follow appropriate quality control measures and in-process checks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience with a focus on inventory tracking, product safety, consumer safety, and maintaining high product quality
• Professional kitchen or baking experience is preferred
• Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Office and METRC, among other systems
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for proper batch formulation
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
