Processing Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for various processes, including harvesting, trimming, processing, and packaging of plant material by hand or machine
• Inspect plant material for defects and report concerns to the lead or manager on duty
• Accurately record data on each plant using the company system and protocols
• Adhere to quality control SOPs and verify quality control standards are being met throughout the process
• Maintain a clean, compliant, and safe work environment and report any necessary compliance or safety concerns
• Compliantly clean and sanitize the processing area as assigned by management
• Compliantly dispose of waste in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Meet daily goals, processing objectives, and KPIs set by management
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Cultivation Manager and/or Director of Production

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately record data
• Ability to follow quality control SOPs and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and measure products
