Post Harvest Associate

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process harvests for flower sales and oil extraction
• Follow standard operating procedures for drying, curing, trimming and grinding cannabis harvests
• Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials
• Package and label product to ensure cannabis is ready for vault storage
• Precise hand trimming of cannabis in its dried state
• Assemble secondary packaging
• Maintain a neat and organized work area
• Observe, recognize, and report any sanitation or quality issues
• Responsible for facility and equipment cleaning
• Adhere to departmental, site and corporate safety policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Must be 21 years of age to apply per NY State regulations
• Ability to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to use a computer and to learn new programs for accurate record keeping
• Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices
