Job Description

Common Citizen is seeking a Part-Time Guest Advisor to provide unparalleled customer service and education to guests at their provisioning center in Westland, MI. As a Guest Advisor, you will be the face of the company, treating all guests with great humanity and helping them discover cannabis products to achieve a higher quality of life. This role requires a passion for providing excellent customer service, staying current with cannabis knowledge, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Creating an unparalleled customer service experience for guests
Building strong long-term relationships with guests
Providing problem-solving sales assistance and upselling/cross-selling when beneficial
Generating references, referrals, and repeat visits
Staying current with cannabis knowledge to educate and serve with excellence
Hosting or participating in educational events, onsite and offsite

Requirements

2+ years of customer service experience in a retail environment
Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic team
Familiarity with ordering platforms (Dutchie, Weedmaps, etc) and POS systems
Personal or professional experience with cannabis preferred
High level of professionalism and alignment with company founding principles
Ability to stand for entire shift, use hands to handle objects, and lift up to 20 pounds
