Job Description

Common Citizen is seeking a Part-Time Guest Advisor to provide unparalleled customer service and educate guests about cannabis products. As a Guest Advisor, you will be the face of the company, treating all guests with great humanity and helping them discover products that will improve their quality of life. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality cannabis products, a desire to change the social perception of cannabis, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Creating an unparalleled customer service experience for guests
Providing problem-solving sales assistance, including upselling and cross-selling
Generating references, referrals, and repeat visits
Staying current with cannabis knowledge to educate and serve guests
Hosting or participating in educational events, onsite and offsite
Following the Common Citizen advisor protocol
Working with fulfillment and regulatory compliance

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a retail environment
Familiarity with ordering platforms and POS systems
Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Personal or professional experience with cannabis preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age as required by the Cannabis Regulatory Association
