Part Time Armed Officer Position - VTown Farms

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions
• Monitor entrances and exits and permit authorized persons to enter property
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
• One year experience in retail, customer service and/or hospitality required
• Five years experience in security preferred
• Possess a VALID BSIS Guard Card
• Possess a VALID BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit
• Obtain a California Baton Permit within 3 months of hire
• Obtain a Taser Permit within 3 months of hire
• Obtain a O/C Spray Permit within 3 months of hire
• Must be 21 years of age
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to occasionally lift items not to exceed 20 pounds

Benefits & Perks

• $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Part-time, Friday through Sunday, from 6:00am to 2:00pm
