Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor all tasks in packaging areas
• Package flower, edibles, and concentrates with precise weights and piece counts
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Clean machines, set up scales, and report on when small equipment needs to be replaced
• Supply packaging manager with performance analysis and log downtime
• Train new team members on job
• Follow SOPs and training to check components for QA/QC
• Understand the purpose of doing line checks throughout packing orders and when cleaning
• Check labels and packages for print to ensure correct information
• Review and keep current with SOPs to ensure cGMP compliance

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Six months of previous relevant work experience within other packaging, pharmaceutical, or biotech firms
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting ability
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make quick decisions in accordance with SOPs and training
• Basic computer skills and the ability to enter and maintain accurate data in a timely manner
