Packaging Supervisor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the packaging department and be responsible for compliance and consistency
• Manage packaging agents
• Maintain inventory levels and production standards
• Oversee production lines, ensuring staff have what they need to complete projects on time
• Complete documentation of daily production logs on various software platforms
• Recognize areas of opportunity that improve Safety, Product Quality, Food Safety, Cost, Productivity, and Employee Moral
• Manage employee records
• Create compliance labels from Metrc
• Maintain fast pace and high attention to detail in all areas of the team
• Collaborate with quality teams to ensure labels are going on correctly and packaging remains compliant with regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of production/manufacturing processes
• Ability to provide clear direction, to manage and track progress and communicate outcomes
• Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
