Packaging Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise packaging personnel and assign daily tasks
• Train new hires and ensure team meets time expectations and quality standards
• Support a culture of continuous improvement and conduct Gemba walks
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Execute batch record documentation and deliver against daily schedule
• Utilize company's Regulatory Seed-to-Sale System and make conversions as needed
• Print reports and disperse to team
• Work cross-functionally with Processing, Material Handling, and Order Fulfillment departments
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to Packaging Manager and Sales Team
• Operate automated equipment and confirm set-up and run log are filled out properly
• Approve timecards, PTO, sick days, and handle disciplinary actions/rewards for direct reports
• Lead 1:1 scheduled monthly meetings with direct reports and conduct annual performance reviews

Requirements

• Two years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role with demonstrated experience managing agents and operations
• Demonstrated experience in a CPG, Manufacturing, or Production setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedures
• Ability to measure, package, and label in a precise manner
• Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
• Proficiency in windows-based software and point of sale applications a plus
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
