Packaging Lead

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Executing tasks assigned by Management
• Detecting errors and communicating issues to Supervisors
• Measuring, packaging, and labeling products as directed by Management
• Creating PWOs
• Understanding of delivery schedule and how PWOs relate
• Prioritization of tasks based on PWO
• Leading and motivating the team
• Collecting samples and performing tests to ensure quality
• Printing compliance labels
• Staging, exterior packaging, reading reports
• Maintaining a sanitary work environment
• Safely transporting products from workspace to storage area
• Ensuring that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a factory, production, or manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership skills
• Effective communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedures
• Ability to measure, package, and label in a precise manner
• Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
• Proficiency in windows-based software and point of sale applications
• Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
