Operations Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all strategic planning and vision for facility plant operations
• Manage all facility activities working closely with departmental managers
• Partner with facility General Manager on budgeting and analysis of facility data
• Develop and produce reporting to illustrate business trends
• Manage and maintain a company culture consistent with GTI corporate culture
• Participate in developing and implementing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Continuously improve employee skills, knowledge, and morale
• Implement and maintain wholesale facility and equipment preventative maintenance program
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal billing or licensing requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business preferred
• 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Direct management of 30+ individuals in a manufacturing setting required
• Consumer Packaged Good experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, certifications a plus
• Exposure to horticulture and/or plant science and/or lab processing, a plus
• Can-do attitude and ability to adapt quickly
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of critical thinking and professionalism and integrity
