Operational Adherence Specialist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote and in-store audits to ensure compliance with state regulations and company Work Instructions
• Review self-inspections completed by Store teams and provide timely feedback, guidance, and corrective action recommendations
• Provide training and day-to-day support and education to Retail teams regarding compliance expectations and regulatory requirements
• Assist with monitoring inventory discrepancies and losses and support resolution in partnership with Adherence and Store leadership
• Support the execution of Comprehensive Inventory Audits in accordance with state regulations and internal standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, audit documentation, and compliance reporting tools
• Stay current on applicable state and local regulations and proactively escalate regulatory changes or risks as needed

Requirements

• Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in compliance, operations, or audit in the cannabis industry (or within a regulated industry alcohol, tobacco, manufacturing, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and procedures
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage/own multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build positive working relationships
• Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness and ability to learn and maintain knowledge of state regulations
• Ability to travel within the region as needed
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
