Marijuana Production Citizen (2nd Shift)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Filing, packing, labeling, sealing, and other duties associated with the preparation of cannabis products for distribution
• Preparing all edibles in a sanitary and timely manner
• Training new team members
• Reporting safety concerns to the Safety Coordinator
• Medicating products properly
• Assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen
• Ensuring all labeling is properly done to adhere to compliance requirements
• Following GMP and Q/A processes in the facility
• Strictly following department SOPs, batch records, production logs, and associated forms/documents
• Working in a fast-paced environment and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) standards
• Keeping an account of all inventories needs and ensuring all raw ingredients are in the facility for the production schedule
• Assisting in the implementation of Edible Kitchen systems and SOPs
• Maintaining relevant training as new products are introduced
• Ensuring all paperwork has been completed daily and turned into the Production Manager
• Packaging duties as needed

Requirements

• Basic understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the kitchen
• Training experience preferred
• Inventory experience preferred
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with a team and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to stand on feet for long hours
• Ability to accurately follow recipes and measurements
• Ability to be trained on various activities, machines, and systems
• Ability to do monotonous activities without making errors
• Detailed-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency, quality, and sanitation
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in a greenhouse environment (tolerance of heat & humidity)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
