Manager of Packaging

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and delegating staff to achieve the daily and weekly objectives of the Packaging department
• Maintaining a consistent and compliant packaging, effectively manufactured in a timely manner to meet quota and quality standards
• Ensuring the proper execution for all aspects of the department including management of the employees, management of the production of packaging all dried cannabis SKUs, accurately inventorying all packages, and maintenance and upkeep of the automated machinery
• Supporting the Senior Manager of Post Harvest towards all departmental progression of packaging
• Managing the inventory system to maintain complete compliance and consistent organization
• Assist with providing effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to PharmaCann’s vision, mission and values
• Ensuring all staff are following company defined protocols
• Enforce all company policies and regulations

Requirements

• At least 1 year employment with PharmaCann preferred
• At least 1 year experience in a commercial cannabis operation preferred
• At least 2 years of prior leadership experience preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment required
• Experience managing over 10+ employees is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Manufacturing and/or Agricultural management experience, training, and education preferred
