Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with and assist the Maintenance team with preventive maintenance and repairs
• Monitor operation and proper use of all equipment and systems
• Help maintain irrigation systems and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Utilize, maintain and keep track of power tools and mobile equipment
• Conduct daily visual inspections inside and outside of the facility
• Perform basic plumbing repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to compliance with health and safety standards and company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Desire to learn new skills in maintenance
• Some knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building equipment
• Basic knowledge of computers and printers
• High level of self-awareness, receptivity to change, and integrity
• Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and exercise independent judgment
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of maintenance and general repair experience (on the job learning will be provided)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive level 2 FBI background check
• Must pass a drug screening
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
