Machine Operator

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and support changeover by cleaning and staging the equipment and hot swap kits
• Identify and troubleshoot minor issues using root cause analysis
• Utilize digital trackers to upload pitch and batch numbers
• Perform minor adjustments and fixes to the equipment
• Identify and communicate problems to the Lead, such as defects in the cannabis material or equipment issues
• Ensure sanitation standards are followed with respect to process equipment maintenance
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure process and product quality align with company standards
• Collaborate with all Citizens on improving daily tasks, proper training, and provide process audits with a passion for Continuous Improvement

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a factory, production, or fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to measure, package, and label in a precise manner
• Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of basic MS Office, METRC, and cannabis inventory management programs is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to hold themselves accountable to Standards of Work
• Solid communication and documentation skills
• Problem-solving skills
