Job Description

Curaleaf is seeking a Lead Store Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and guide a team of store associates. The successful candidate will be a brand ambassador, drive performance, and help shape a welcoming and compliant retail store environment. The role involves customer service, sales, operational excellence, and team development, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Create a warm and welcoming environment for customers
Coach team members to deliver exceptional service
Drive consultative selling and upselling strategies
Execute opening and closing duties, including daily huddles and cash reconciliation
Maintain inventory integrity and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety protocols
Guide and support store associates in daily operations
Train new hires and conduct ongoing training sessions
Provide real-time coaching and feedback to drive team performance

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment
1 year of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling
6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Familiarity with retail standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and loss prevention practices
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
